Who better to ask about what life is like at IOSH than the people who work there themselves? They would be delighted to welcome you here.
I love the way I was supported by colleagues when I relocated from Spain. They helped me a lot when going through some of the stressful changes; they went beyond work-related support to emotional, cultural, community and social support and awareness. We really do have an incredible team here.
I love working with the team at IOSH. I get to work with a really nice bunch of people in the office and make some great contacts around the world from our 47,000-strong network of members. It’s great to work with people genuinely committed to creating a safer world of work.
Working at IOSH has given me the opportunity to learn new things and see my career grow. Working remotely is never a concern, as it’s ever so easy to stay well connected with my team and the whole business.
Every day we speak to businesses and thought leaders globally to ensure our products fit the needs of the workplace and, as a result, help protect working people. As a member of the lunchtime clubs for badminton, football and walking, the social side of things is great, too.
I was a nervous 20-year-old when I first walked through the door at IOSH, but was made to feel incredibly welcome, which put me at ease. Three years later, I’ve really developed professionally while my sporting skills have improved too, thanks to the weekly badminton and football.
It is a pleasure to work for a company that is growing in the right direction and takes care of its employees.
A good work-life balance, excellent colleagues, and the ability to take the initiative to get things done provides me with flexibility, motivation and satisfaction.
